Getting involved with St Peter's

St Peter's Church plays an active part of the community, and there are numerous roles which are essential to the running of the Church.

Sunday Service

Welcomers in action.
Help is needed in a number of areas each Sunday. They are perfomed on a rota basis.

 


Flower arranging

Pat Maufe and Sheila Clarke arranging flowers
Ladies from the church and community. Buy flowers from a market and prepare them for the Sunday, as well as festivals and occassional weddings.


 

Church cleaners

Lectern Clean the church brass.

Junior Church leader
Prepare lessons and teaching materials and activities for children.

Junior Church helper
Assisting the junior church leader.

St Peter's Singers
Sunday Choir

Singing at the Sunday service. Practise at 20.00 on Thursdays.

Events Committee
Organise social events, such as barn dance, quiz night, concert refreshments, harvest supper and so on.

Afternoon Club
Make tea and get room ready.

Christmas Bazaar
Organise and run the stalls and promise auction.
