Stepping Stones

St Peter's values the children of its congregation as full members of the church community. Stepping Stones helps the children to understand how much God loves them, teaches them the Christian story through a variety of interesting and enjoyable activities, nurtures them in the Christian Faith, and shows them that they are full and valued members of the Church.

Stepping Stones meets during the main Sunday morning service in term time. Each Sunday's session has a theme, based on the Sunday readings, the season of the Church's year, or a particular aspect of the Christian faith.

Children go out to Stepping Stones, which takes place in the Church Hall, shortly after the beginning of the service. They then rejoin the main congregation until the end of the service so that they can be in Church for the Peace, Eucharistic Prayer, Communion and Blessing.

Children aged four years upwards are very welcome to join us. Stepping Stones dates for the Autumn Term 2019 are as follows:

8th September - Family Mass 

15th September - Stepping Stones

22nd September - Stepping Stones

29th September - Ealing Half Marathon - No Stepping Stones

6th October - Family Mass (Harvest)

13th October - Stepping Stones

20th October - Half Term - No Stepping Stones

27th October - Half Term - No Stepping Stones

3rd November - Stepping Stones (All Saints)

10th November - Stepping Stones (Remembrance Sunday)

17th November - Stepping Stones

24th November - Stepping Stones (Christ the King)

1st December - Stepping Stones (Advent Sunday)

8th December - Family Mass

15th December - Stepping Stones Christmas Party 

Stepping Stones resumes after the Christmas break with a Family Mass on 13th January 2020.
