Lockdown 3.0 at St Peter’s

Lockdown 3.0 at St Peter’s

Dear St Peter’s and Friends,

As you may have heard in the news, infection rates in London are soaring. Our hospitals are under extreme pressure. The situation has become dire.

Yesterday we received a letter from the leader of Ealing Council, in which he asks all places of worship to close for public worship and private prayer.

Last night the PCC met to discuss our response, and we have agreed that St Peter's will close for both public worship and private prayer with immediate effect. All services will now move on to Zoom and the Sunday service will be broadcast from the Lady Chapel, managed by the Staff Team. Please email david.neno@london.anglican.org if you would like the links to any of our online services.

We are disappointed, but feel this is the right decision at this time for the safety of our members and as an example to our community. It is important we adhere to the request that we stay at home.

We would like to underline that we are always available to you for prayer and support. Do not be afraid to ask for help. Being there for each other is what it means to be the family of God in this place. If you have any questions or concerns, please let me (david.neno@london.anglican.org) or one of the Staff Team know.

Love and prayers,

Fr David
